Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by: Breaking the Spine
Author: Marissa Meyer
Publisher: Feiwel And Friends
Release Date: November 8,2016
Synopsis: Long before she was the terror of Wonderland — the infamous Queen of Hearts — she was just a girl who wanted to fall in love.
Catherine may be one of the most desired girls in Wonderland, and a favorite of the yet-unmarried King of Hearts, but her interests lie elsewhere. A talented baker, all she wants is to open a shop with her best friend and supply the Kingdom of Hearts with delectable pastries and confections. But according to her mother, such a goal is unthinkable for the young woman who could be the next Queen.
At a royal ball where Cath is expected to receive the king’s marriage proposal, she meets Jest, the handsome and mysterious court joker. For the first time, she feels the pull of true attraction. At the risk of offending the King and infuriating her parents, she and Jest enter into an intense, secret courtship.
Cath is determined to define her own destiny and fall in love on her terms. But in a land thriving with magic, madness, and monsters, fate has other plans. (Goodreads)
Marina’s thought corner:
I don’t think that I have ever been more excited for a book. I can not believe that there is more wonderland for me to explore. I have a slight obsession with anything related to “Alice in Wonderland”. I can’t wait for this book to come out. I really enjoy Marissa Meyer’s writing and I know that she will bring a very interesting new twist to the “Alice in Wonderland” story.

My WoW Post
I saw that it had something to do with “Alice in Wonderland”, I was like I need to get my hands on it. I have a hit and miss relationship with Marissa Meyer.
I enjoyed Cinder but wasn’t absolutely in love with it. Hopefully Heartless (which sounds AMAZING) can reverse the tide.
I liked Cinder, but I had ups and downs with some of the other books in the series. Heartless sounds sooo good I can’t wait to read it.:) I’m all about the Alice in wonderland world.
I hope I enjoy this one as much as I liked the others. I’m so glad it is Alice in Wonderland. Just so long to wait.
Here is my WOW
Alice in wonderland is one of my favorite classics. I have really high expectations. And yes, the wait time is killing me, I want to read it really badly.
