Review: I gave this book 
, I thought it was very well written. Marissa Meyer, paints a world that you can’t help but being sucked into. During the time that I was reading the novel, I felt like I was in this world that was created for me. The world was intriguing, dangerous and extremely mysterious.
I was always turned away from this book, every time someone talked about, all I heard was it was a retelling of “Cinderella”, as I am a huge fan of the original story of Cinderella, this always stopped me from reading the book. But, recently I was in a massive book slump and I was looking for something to read, when I came across “Cinder”, on Scribd.
This was not one of your fairy tale stories that your mom used to tell you before bed, this is a mix between sci-fi and fantasy. I personally am a huge fan of fantasy and seeing the element of science fiction in it was a very nice and surprising touch. It is very rare that science-fiction and fantasy can be worked in together very well, but Meyer did an amazing job satisfying my hunger for both elements.
Allow me to gush for a minute about how much I adore this book. I can not believe that I have been putting off reading “The Lunar Chronicles”, for the longest time. This book was pretty much everything that I wanted. It had an absolutely fascinating and exciting love plot, an absolute evil queen, a cyborg and a prince. The characters were lovable and our main protagonist Cinder, quickly became one of my bookish bestfriends, her kind demeanor yet strong personality and add mechanic to that made her pretty bad-ass. The plot was intriguing, I never read a book that was able to put a epidemic that was taking over society quite nicely, like this book did. It made me feel like I was in the midst of the city that this story was taking place, living the life along side the characters. The ending left of on a major cliff-hanger, which is making me crave to pick up “Scarlet” the second installment in this fast paced series.
